About Me
I'm a software developer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I'm self-taught, which taught me to be curious, patient and stubborn in equal measure. If I don't know something, I'll go and learn it.
My interests sit around machine learning and AI, systems administration, backend development and DevOps. I like working close to the machine, keeping services running, wiring things together, and automating whatever I'd rather not do by hand.
I release my work as open-source, because knowledge should be free, and I'd rather build things people actually use than things that just look good on a CV.
Self-Taught & Proactive
I don't wait for a course to tell me what to learn. If something doesn't fit, I learn what's needed and build it myself.
Linux & Self-Hosting
I run my own machines and keep them online myself. It means I understand every layer of what I build, from the ground up.
Open-Source Builder
I build open-source tools in my spare time and release them for anyone to use, change or learn from.
